HOUSING CONTRACTS CANNOT BE CANCELLED

Please be advised, all submitted housing contracts are binding and hold you financially accountable to your contract terms. Do not submit a contract if you intend to use on-campus housing as a backup plan, or if you're unsure about living on campus.

It is strongly recommended that you plan ahead and contact Columbia Central to ensure that you are able to make a financial commitment PRIOR to signing a housing contract.

If you are new to Columbia, you must confirm your attendance before you can enter this portal. The Admissions Department will contact all confirmed incoming students to extend an invitation to apply for housing. It is not recommended to attempt accessing the Housing Portal prior to receiving the email invitation.

You will need your Office 365 credentials to gain access to the Housing Portal. Residence Life cannot assist with password inquiries.

2022 Spring Only Semester

The spring 2022 online housing application will be available beginning Friday, October 1, 2021, to all students that DO NOT currently live on campus. This includes new students, current Columbia College students and those studying abroad.

At this time, you will be able to complete your housing application and submit the required $500 housing prepayment in order to be considered for a spring-only housing contract.

Starting the week of January 11, 2022, students will receive a priority timeslot to begin the online room selection process.

2021-2022 Academic Year – New & Transfer Students

Our 2021-2022 academic year housing application is now live! Don't we have some exciting news for you!

What's New?

For the first time, we will allow new and transfer students to select and secure housing placement for the upcoming academic year through an online room selection process. Students can choose their building, floor, room and even roommates! As always, you must submit a housing prepayment and application in order to participate.

It's also important to note, returning students always receive priority housing during our annual Contract Renewal Campaign. Please understand the rooms are subject to availability.

OK, You've got my Attention! When can I start selecting my room?

Currently, you are only able to submit your application and solidify your roommate group. We anticipate you being able to begin selecting your space mid-June. Once a date has been solidified we will notify you via email. It is recommended you are proactive in checking your Columbia college email account as that is the account we will send communication to.

In the Meantime, What Should I Do to Prepare for Online Room Selection?

We encourage you to submit a housing application and solidify your roommate groups.

2021-2022 Academic Year – Returning Students

If you are a current on-campus housing resident, Columbia College student or a student studying abroad, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Contract Campaign. This takes place during the spring 2021 semester, the campaign start date is TBA.

Participating in this campaign allows returning students to select and secure housing placement for the upcoming academic year through an online room selection process. Students can choose their building, floor, room and even roommates! There will be a required housing prepayment due at the time of participation, so have your credit card ready. Room selection details and information regarding the campaign will be posted to www.colum.edu/contractcampaign and emailed to all current residents.

**Returning students who do not take advantage of the Contract Renewal Campaign can apply for housing but will be assigned housing on a first-come first-serve rolling basis, beginning in June. **
